Big Boy!!! Not quite, but close enough, 3 month update!!

So my little man is growing sooo fast!! On Wednesday, Feb. 24, he sat in his bumbo seat all by himself!! Momma was so proud of him!! I can't believe he is almost three months old already! Time is flying by so fast!! So, due to his new found talent of sitting up by himself, we now have bumbo time along with tummy time!! He is also loving to "bouncy, bouncy, bouncy" and he smiles sooo big whenever you say "bouncy, bouncy, bouncy" when he jumps!!

Our days are spent playing...he plays with his lion and his bear and he starts hitting them and he talks to them. He still loves his swing so much and that cute little baby that talks back to him in his mirror!! He has also started watching the pictures in the books when Momma reads to him too!! Jaxin also loves bath time!! He always flops his little leg over the side of his hammock in his tub and kicks and splashes inthe water!! Oh, and he LOVES American Idol which makes Momma so happy!!!

Jaxin has now slept through the night for two whole weeks straight!!!! I hear this is a little early to be on such a great schedule! And to be honest, I do sort of miss our little late night rondezvous but I'm so happy that he sleeps so well!! He usually sleeps from 9:30-10ish until around 6-630ish. And he sleeps so deeply that he sort of snores...sooo cute!! After he gets up around 6, he goes back to sleep and does his every three hour feedings until about 12 and then he stays up for a while only taking a few cat naps here and there until he goes to bed at night!!

A few concerns at his three month age are that his little feet are turning in just a smidge. We hear that it's because his inside ankle muscles are strengthening quicker than his outside ankle muscles. So, whenever he is sitting with us, we just have to straighten out his ankle and work his outside ankle muscles to get them just as strong!! Also, last night, there was a smidgen of blood in his poopy diaper so we have to take him to the dr. I called Dr. Weaver last night after I saw and he said that his little butt could just have gotten dry since it's cold out, like a cracked knuckle, but to bring him in just to be safe. I put a little vaseline on his tush for him but he was acting normal. Smiling and "bouncy, bouncy, bouncy" with Daddy while I was on the phone with Dr. Nothing to be too concerned about but we just need to make sure!!!

Holy Blow Out!!

So Momma and Bubba had a rather eventful day yesterday!! We woke up for the day at about noon..I know bad Momma, but I was sleepy too!! So Jaxin was finished eating and was being burped and just ripped one. And this does not sound like the usual blow out sounds so I didn't think anything of it. Even though, experience with Jaxin's poos has taught Momma to remove her arm from under his little tush to try to help avoidance of a blow out. Well arm moved or not, it didn't matter because this was instant...up the front...

It was a nice morning for us!! Bubba got his bath. Shortly after his bath, Momma even had to take a bath!!!!! Any who, after all was said and done, Jaxin was happy and that's all that matters!!

Good Weekend!!

So we had a pretty good weekend. Momma had to work all day Saturday so Jaxin got to stay with Grani Jani. Then, Saturday night, Daddy and I planned on going out so Jaxin not only got to spend the entire day with Grani Jani, he got to spend the night too!! He was so excited. I dropped him off at 6 am. While I was at work, Jaxin and Grani Jani played a little...

Then Jaxin decided he should probably take a nap...

Then after his nap and because Momma was very upset she wasn't going to see him until the next day, Jaxin and Grani Jani came to meet me at work and brought me some lunch!! Everyone loved him. Jaxin was smiling and talking to Jeremy Glenn and flirting with some of the ladies I work with!!

Then later that night, Jaxin went to Uncle Aaron's basketball game with Grani Jani and Grampi Tom. He has a cute little "Wheaton" shirt that he wears with a little ADIDAS sweat suit. Well, apparently he had a bit of a blow out in the "Wheaton" attire but he still enjoyed the game...

Then Grani Jani brought him to church on Sunday!!

Jaxin was such a good little boy for Grani Jani, not only did he mind his manners but he also slept through the night!! It's been a week and two days with only two nights in between he's gotten up once. I missed him OHHH so much Saturday but I know that Daddy and Momma need time for ourselves. We did have a lot of fun. There was all sorts going on in the big town of Atlanta, Illinois. Chubby's had Mardi Gras and Phanny's had Dave so it was a blast. We put on our dancin' shoes and went out. Most of our friends were out and Auntie Lish even went out too with some of her friends from work!! It was a rather late night...I fell asleep while pumping for the last time at about 5 am!! No one puked or fought so it was a successful evening! After church, Momma had such a terrible headache (I wonder why...) so Jaxin and I took a nap from 1:30 to 5:30 siiigh!! It was just what I needed!!
