Oh, my precious baby boy!! I cannot believe how quickly our time has gone with you! You are an amazing little man and you never cease to amaze Momma and Daddy! We love watching you grow and explore your surroundings!! You turned 6 months old on May 30th, the same day Papa Crabber turned 48. We were in Wisconsin for Memorial Day Weekend aka first family vay-kay woot!!. We celebrated your birthday by starting you on fruits!! You really like your fruits but sometimes they are a little sweet and you make "baby suckin' on lemon" faces that are just priceless! You are such a happy baby and I cherish every single moment I have with you.
Some things that you like are reading books. Whenever Momma goes out to the red room to squat down with you to get a book off your bookshelf, you get so excited and flail your arms and legs and you can't wait to get your hands on your books!! We sometimes read three or more books at a time because you love it so much!!
You also love, love, LOVE bath time. As soon as you see Momma or Daddy turn the water on in the tub you just get so excited. You get in there and just a-splash!! One night, while Momma was at work, Daddy gave you a bath and you rolled over and Daddy said you just loved it!! However, Momma is not ready for you to roll over in the tub...sorry buddy but I'm just not :)
You also LOVE your oats and most of your new foods! You will eat inbetween "Mmmm Mmmm's" and I adore it!!
You also love to have your ears cleaned. As soon as Momma puts a Q-tip to your ear you lay so unbelieveable still!
Of course, you still love, love, LOVE that baby in the mirror...sometimes you can just never get enough of that handsome little boy!!
You also love our pups, Lucy and Rocko. You could watch them play and run around for a looong time and you laugh and get all excited when they run up to you!!
What you love the most, though is your Daddy. Whenever he walks into the room you both light up and you get all excited with your smiles. You just cannot get enough of your Daddy and sometimes you just can't take your eyes off of him. It melts Momma's heart whenever all either of you can do is just smile and laugh at each other!
Some things that you do not like, though are your green veggies! We have to go every other bite between the greens and the oranges just so you get your green veggies...you need them little man so we do what we have to :)
You alse despise the nose-sucky-thing. It breaks Momma's heart to have to use it but sometimes you can't breathe and eat at the same time so we have to use it little man!! Buh, moving on because it hurts Momma's tummy to think about how upset you get :(
You also do not like when Momma has to put lotion on your neck when it gets irritated from all the slobbers!! You are a slobbery mess sometimes and it makes your skin break out so we have to use special lotion and you don't like your neck messed with AT ALL!! Not even in the tub when we wash it!!
You are getting better but sometimes you despise your car seat! You don't like to be strapped in but Bubba, you need her because she protects you! One day, I hope, you will be fond of her--she comes with a cup holder :)
You also do NOT like to be put down when you are hungry. Don't worry precious baby, Momma knows what you need and I won't deprive you of ANYTHING! So if Momma puts you in your big boy chair it's simply so I can use both hands to get your num nums ready quicker for you!!
