Bubba and His 1st Shiney New Car

Ok so it's not really that shiney and it's not really a car but it's a super fun toy that resembles the inside of a car!! There's a steering wheel with a horn, a shifter, mirror, stoplight, and turn signals, and he LOVES it!!!

Oh yes, and it wouldn't be broke in without trying to eat it :)

Saturday with the Crabber Clan

So this past Saturday, while Momma was at work, Bubba got to spend the day with his Papa Crabber, Mama Mel, and Auntie Cass. I text several times that day (can't help it when I'm away from him) and heard all about their singing nursery rhymes, watched Thomas the Train, and danced to some good ol' country music!!

Cookout with the BFFs

So last Thursday, my BFF, Laura, and her fabulous family came over to our house for a much needed BFF cookout!!! We had such a good time and they even liked my food :) I was a little nervous about the food because it was the first time I ever made tater salad and Texas cake! I even felt the tater salad rocked but the looks of the cake had much to be desired!!! No one told me the icing hardens when it cools...how ya 'posed to spread hard icing is beyond me!! Anywho...we had a great time and hopefully we can make these an every other week event instead of once a month :)

Keller was crack-in us up because he would go into Jaxin's room, breakin' it in for future slams :), and he would stand up against the wall. Well, one time Auntie Goo went in and there he was hiding in the corner between Bubba's crib and his cabinet-thing lookin' so durn ca-ute!! Oh yes, and borrowing Bubba's passie :)

My little man is working SO hard at crawling. He's getting up on his hands and knees and just a'rocks away!!

Oh yes...Bubba has recently found his own ears and decided he wanted to tug on Keller's too!! Excuse the face, I was worried he was going to pull hard :)

We had an amazing time and I so CANNOT wait till the next time!!!

Daddy's First Daddy's Day!!!

We had an awesome weekend...Bubba got to see all of his family over the course of Father's Day Weekend!! Our first stop was Friday night at Grandma and Grandpa Baker's house. They had their slip and slide out, which Bubba and I did not get into...Daddy got squirted right in the back by Grandpa Baker and that was about all the wetness our little family got into :) We also had snow cones and just sat around and chit-chatted!! We missed out on the homemade ice cream due to a tired andd hungry baby!

Our next stop was Grani Jani's after church on Sunday to spend some time with Great Papa and Great Great Grandpa Hermie!

Then our last stop was to Great Aunt Martha's in Le Roy to spend time with Papa Crabber and Great Papa Gene!!

And then all Daddy wanted to do for his first Daddy's Day was to come home and have a cook out with just our little fam so that is just what we did after all the hoop-la!! Bubba was givin' Daddy kisses so when Momma went to get her camera he, of course stopped. Then when I'd get the camera ready for a picture he'd stop again so this is what I got instead and I just love, love, LOVE it!!!

Bubba's 1st Pool Party!!

So since it was really nice last week and because Cousin Norah was staying at Great Uncle Terry and Great Aunt Carol's while her Mommy and Daddy were vacationing, we decided it was time for their first pool party!! They did SO well!! Momma, on the other hand, was a bit paranoid and did not want to let Bubba go because sitting up all by himself is new territory and I'm so not okay with face planting in water! I did get better tho as the day went on!!

And Bubba just loved, loved, LOVED the water!! He was just a-splashin' and cousin Norah was just staring with amusement!!

And for a while Bubba kept wanting to roll over and play on his tummy but it took Momma a bit and a little encouragement from Aunt Carol to allow this :)

They had such a good time and they began learning how to share toys!! We cannot wait for the next Pool Party!!! And sidenote, Cousin Norah's swimsuit is a little ballerina tutu :) SOOO CUTE!!!
