Little to catch up on AND....Bubba is 4 months old!!!

Ok so it's been a few weeks since I've been on here. And to tell you the truth, for me, blogging is a bit intimidating!! I'm new at this blogging business but even more so, I'm a beginner for technology as well. For example, all of my pictures are in one folder because I have not learned the ability to create a new file to keep my pictures organized!!! Good thing that when I actually get them on the computer, they sort themselves out by date so that helps a TON!!

So enough about my technology illiteracy...some crazy business has been going on around here!! So about a week after I got over my wonderful episode of Mastitis, I woke up at about 2 am on a Tuesday morning with what I thought was heartburn. Holy cripies it was not heartburn!! I had to walk rather quickly to the bathroom to uh, graciously donate my dinner to the bottom of the toilet!! So by about 4 am I had ralphed up about everything I had in my stomach down to the bile... nast-ey! (I counted 10 trips between 2 and 5) It was now coming out both ends and as gross as it may seem, it totally was!! I was on the thrown with a bucket in my lap hahaha I was a site to see!! While dry heaving my lovey says so lovingly (ha sarcasm) "Babe, why do you sound like that? Are you gagging yourself" Oh yes, I love doing this to myself!! I call my sister at work, she works third shifts, and tell her that there was no way I wanted to be around Jaxin after being like this not knowing what was going on...I thought I had food poisoning it hit me so bad so fast! She proceeds to tell me that she feels the same way...cripes what was I going to do?! So then my amazing mother, who I could never thank enough for coming to my rescue, calls me at 6 and the first thing I say is "Can you come take care of Jaxin?" Little did I know that he was going to have to stay with her for TWO NIGHTS!!! As much as it bothered me that I couldn't take care of him, I was so grateful that I had a mother who I knew would take care of him. I did not leave the bed but to pee once and to tie a pair of pj's around my face and put germ-x on my hands to get Jaxin a passy!! My mom had to run out during his nap to take my sister the necessities for the flu...you know, sprite, etc. Well, Jaxin is more of a cat napper. He woke before she got home and he started getting angry so Momma had to do something for my little man because he was starting to cry real tears!

Anywho, Jaxin went just about everywhere with Grani Jani! He helped her clean bottles...

He helped her get some work done...

Had a bit of a blow out which required a bath and for Grani Jani to wash her sheets! This was a blowout that came after about two days of no pooping so you can imagine!!

He loves sprawling out to sleep!!

Oh yeah, and of course, Momma misses a first, he finally found his footsie!! And no, he has not done this since!! Oh well, at least he found it!

So along with Bubba finding his footsie for the first time, he turned 4 MONTHS OLD!!! His "birthday" was on the 30th. Kinda crazy because it was a year to the day that I found out I was pregnant with our little bundle of joy and we were also at the same place where I found out I was pregnant...Auntie Goo and Uncle Biiig Boooone's house :) Jaxin is getting so big and doing more and more new things. We have not yet gone to his 4 month check up, that is the 8th! But we are super excited about starting him on cereal...Daddy is still working on the high chair. As I type this, it is put together but the pads are not on it yet. Anywho, some of the new things that Jaxin loves to do are talking to that handsome baby in the mirror...

As much as it pains my heart to see my little man get bigger and bigger way to fast, I am so greatful that he is a healthy baby boy who is happy, seriously ALL the time!! I didn't know what I was going to do before he came into this world and now I cannot imagine what I would do without him!!! I love him and his Daddy more and more every day!!!

Bubba's First Walk!!!!

So since it was so beautiful on Wed, the 10th, Momma took the evening off to spend the evening with my lovey baby!! We decided to take Jaxin on his first walk!!! So, Jaxin, Auntie Lish, and Momma ventured out and met Great Great Uncle Terry halfway. We walked for about an hour and a half!! It was amazing!! Bubba started out doing really well! He was so excited to go outside and not have to be zipped up! Oh and he is growing into his beanie that Grani Jani got for him!!

Then he started to get a little sleepy, and yes, he still loves to fight that sleep!!

Awe, nap time!!

So after his nap, Bubba was back to hims happy self!! We went to visit with Great Nanny because Momma and Auntie Lish were rather parched...Bubba loved talking with Great Nanny

And on our way home, we stopped to visit with our friend Mark who Jaxin loved to catch up with!!

We had such a great time and Bubba loved it...after his nap!

So we had a pretty good past weekend!! Our fun started on Thursday when Jaxin, Auntie Lish, Great Great Uncle Terry, and myself went to go see Avatar 3D. It was such a great movie and Jaxin had so much fun!! He wanted to sit on my lap and watch the movie...then he decided he wanted to eat....and then he would take little cat naps--cat naps so he wouldn't miss too much of the movie!!

Saturday was a bit ruff for Momma. I woke up not feeling to hot and went in to get Jaxin because he had woke up and was ready to eat! Holy sweet mother of pearl, when I picked him up, I winced sooo bad because my left ta hurt like no other. I went to work feeling like I had the flu, not tying in the flu like symptoms with a sore breast. Grani Jani told me I should probably call the Dr. and good thing I did because she said it sounded like I had Mastitis....swell!!! I never had a temperature, just had the chills and ache-y ALL over!!

We had already made plans with Adam's family to go see Alice in Wonderland. I took Tylenol before we went and was good for a while. By the time the movie was over, I could not even lift Jaxin's car seat into his base! I felt so weak. Any who, Jaxin absolutely LOVED the movie. He sat up on my lap and got so excited kicking his legs and flinging his little arms around with excitement!! He was talking and talking and talking. At first it was really cute because he was talking to the Red Witch when she same on the screen. '"OhhhOhhh" he kept saying. Daddy finally told me to put his bink in his mouth hahaha. So, when that didn't work, because he was just so happy and wanted to share with everyone how much he was loving the movie, I took him down to change his pants to give us a little break and so he could get all of his talking out. I told him that he could talk all he wanted because it was better than screaming!! When we came back up, he was ready to eat. It melted Momma's heart that her baby boy was having such a great time and being such a wonderful boy!! Hey-three movies in three months of life and have not been booted..I'd say we do pretty good!!!

Sunday, I woke up feeling much worse! I couldn't even pick Jaxin up out of his crib. So, Auntie Lish came to get Jaxin for church and took him to Grani Jani's afterwards for lunch so Momma could get some rest! Even though I missed Jaxin more than anything, I knew he was having a great time!!

Jaxin loves his Grampi Tom...who, by the way, holds him more than anyone else when Jaxin goes to visit!

Jaxin also learned how to do some Wii Just Dance with his cousin Lauren.

When he got home, Grani Jani had given Jaxin some rings and he absolutely loves them...we are working on his small motor skills so he is grabbing and inserting into mouth his rings on a daily basis now...

So my wonderful sister gave me a camera that took a crap so I had to get a new one! Auntie Goo informed me of her wonderful camera so I went out and purchased the same - because I oh so trust her!! - on Monday and this is the first picture I was so excited to take with it...

a little blurry because Momma got zoom happy but isn't he OHHH so precious!! So, Auntie Goo informed me of this little trick where you can hold the button down halfway before you take a picture so one, it is focused, and two, you can wait for the perfect shot. However, there is a red light that turns on while the button is only pushed half way down. In theory, this is great because of one and two above. However, it terrifies my son....

So Monday night, I wanted to share in the excitement of my new camera and I knew Auntie Goo would appreciate, so Jaxin and Momma went to visit the West household after we left Grani Jani's--Grani Jani went with us to the Dr. for Momma's appointment and to Wally World to get the camera. We had so much fun, I love visiting my second family!! Jaxin got to meet *** Ronnie for the first time so that was exciting!! Jaxin loved visiting his Auntie Goo...

So after a long and eventful day, we went home for bath night! And let me just say that I love it so much when Daddy helps!! Look at my men!!!

Great weekend...ruff Monday

So our weekend started out really good!! On Friday night, Bubba, Auntie Lish, and I went to watch Oly beat Central Catholic for the Regional Championship with Grani Jani, Great Nanny, and Great Papa--Grampi Tom was coaching...Saturday Momma had to work so Jaxin went to get peddies with Auntie Lish, Grani Jani, Great Nanny, and some other ladies in the family...don't tell Daddy!! So, Saturday night, after I got home from work, I had sooo much stuff to do to get ready for Sunday. We had church, then a potluck, then a baby shower for Jaxin on Papa Crabber's side of the fam at our house. So, I had to clean, clean, clean, and make a dessert for the potluck...fake cherry cheesecake yummy!!! So I felt really bad that I was cleaning and not really spending quality time with Jaxin so we decided to try something new since he loves to bouncy, bouncy, bouncy.....

YAY!!! Bubba loved his exercauser..holy h how do you spell that word?! He only took a couple nose dives but Mamma was there to catch him!! He did so good and was smiling and having such a great time!!

On Sunday, we had a busy day. After we ate at church, Daddy took Jaxin to Grandma and Grandpa Baker's house to see Great Grandma and Great Grandpa Baker who were up from St. Louis. Momma had to stay back and get things picked up and laundry put away before the party goers came!!

When we got home, Mama Mel and Auntie Cass were already here getting things ready!! Auntie Cass was so excited to see you Bubba...

Jaxin got so many great things...clothes, blankets, towels, digital picture fram (woot woot), and many more great things!! His favorite was his new toy...

Love that face!!! He was playing and getting so excited about his blue whale!! There is also a mirror and a light thingy since he loves lights and fishies!!! He was playing so well and Daddy came over being a distraction and the next time we looked over...

Isn't he just so precious!!! Brings a tear to Mamma's eye!! So after such a long and busy and amazing day, when it was time for bed, we decided to try out some of Bubba's new pj's that he got from Grani Jani and Grampi Tom for Christmas...he's a rock star!!! In case you can't tell they have guitars all over them!!

On Monday, Bubba woke up like normal. Momma was running a bit late so Daddy had to get up and put on new clean dry pants and put Bubba in his carset. When Momma gets home from work, Bubba just screams--he cried real tears!! And those of you that know how happy and chillax my son is, knows this is very not like him!! So after he eats, we take a nap and then when he wakes up to eat again...more real tears!! My Bubba was not having a very good day! So, Momma had to go back to work and when I get home, Uncle Terry and Aunt Carol even say that Bubba must not be feeling very well because he is usually happy and smiley and talky and he wasn't his usual self, fussy and only smiling just a little. So we get home and once again, real tears!! So, we take his temp and he has just a very small one so we give just a smidgen of baby tylenol and get jammies on, nightly rub down with lotion, and eat. Jaxin didn't fuss in bed and was able to put himself to sleep. He slept through the night, 10-630, which Mamma loves and his so proud of my little bubba!!!

Today, he is back to hims happy self, smiley and laughy!! We watched Ellen this morning, sitting up like a big boy on the couch, and he was talking to her and kicking his little legs when she was dancing!!! LOVE IT!!!



Hahaha..he looks scared but this is mid flutter of excitement!!! And yes, his shirt says "Mom things I rock"...when I was pregnant, I thought that my unborn child was a musical genius with his perfect rhythm...come to find out, him just had the hiccups ;) So, now we get him rock star stuff, pj's, passies, shirts...laugh it up...I'm a re tard ;)

P.S...I apparently need to change the date on my camera because we all know that it is no longer 2008!!
