Wow Bubba, you sure are GROWING!!

Jaxin Ray James~

You are now 4 1/2 months old and you are doing more and more new things, it seems like almost daily. You bring more joy to my life than I could ever possibly tell you. You probably will not fully grasp how much you mean to me until you have your own little bundle of joy. There is not a moment that I do not wonder what is going through your little head with all of you sounds and shrills of excitement and your many smiles and facial expressions. You are truly a blessing to Momma and I thank God every day that He has given me such a precious gift. You are my world and my rock and you are my little savior here on earth. You have taught your Momma more about life and herself in these 4 months than she has learned her entire 24 years. You are the most important part of me and no matter what this life brings to us know that I will never leave you and I will ALWAYS be your protector and your provider. You are my shooting star and my little rock star Jaxin Ray James and I will love you until the end of my time into eternity!!

You are so big now Bubba that you have officially grown out of your first car seat so Momma had to get you a new one!! This bad boy is going to be with you until you are out of car seats and boosters, so get to know him well!! He will support you while you get to look at the back of the seat you sit in, he will protect you when you finally get to face the front. He will continue to protect you while you are big enough to use the cup holder that he has and the little arm rests :) You are not a big fan of him though because you do not like to be strapped in. You like to stretch and sprawl which just cannot be done in your car seat, but he keeps you safe Bubba!!

You are also a HUGE fan of you shades, Buddy, and you are so cute in them!!

You have also started cereal. April 8th, 2010 was a HUGE day for you! One big thing you did was you started cereal that day little man! Even though you started doing something new and exciting, you had a rough day because you had to get three shots that day at your 4 mo. checkup! You wanted Momma to sit on the couch and snug you from 3:30 pm until 7:30 that night!! It's ok though because Momma loves snuggin' you little man!! You were much more ready the next morning for your cereal..you even look like you said your prayers first!!

You rolled over that same morning before your Dr. appointment while Momma was in the shower...it's ok I missed it because you rolled over TWO times at the Dr.'s office!!!

The next day I even caught it on camera!!

Ohhhh I did it!!!

Now that you roll over, you also like to sleep on your belly!! Daddy called Momma at work one evening and wondered if you should be rolled back over because you were on your tummy in your sleep!! We decided that as long as your little nose was out in the open, you would be just fine!! However, since you have not yet learned how to roll back over, Momma and Daddy decided to put you on your back before we go to bed at night! Look at your lips!!! You have Daddy's lips!!!

You now play with your feet ALL the time, even in your sleep!! And you like to be nakey too!!

You are now big enough to sit in the cart when Momma and Daddy go grocery shopping!! We got you a cover that we can put in the cart, on a restaurant highchair (we haven't done that as of yet), or you can lay on it on the floor! You haven't mastered sitting up by yourself yet so Momma has to hold you upright in the cart!! But you love playing with the little monkey that's on the cover!!

Everyone just adores you Bubba. You came with Momma to work yesterday so I could do some things. Auntie Lish came with for errands afterwards. We went to go visit Grani Jani too because her and Momma work at the same place...State Farm! We were walking underground to another building and everyone that walked by said how cute you were and would smile because you were so excited!! You were kicking your little legs and talking so much and smiling!! You even made a cool dude smile. That's right, one of those guys that's "too cool for school" was walking by and glanced over at you and smiled real big!! You can even make grown men/macho men smile...that's how special and beautiful you are Bubba...here you and Auntie Lish are walking under ground...couldn't get you to look at me though because you were so excited, you were looking all over the place!!

Then you just wanted to tell Grani Jani about how exciting it was to walk underground!!

Then from all the excitement, you got hungry and sleepy!! You are even starting to hold your own bottle...sometimes, and when there isn't very much milk in it!

You are more precious to me than you will ever know my little baby! You are my whole world and I look forward to watching you grow into a little boy and beyond. I will do my best by you baby and I will love you forever, I will like you for always, and as long as I'm living, my baby you'll be!!

Bubba's First Easter!!!!

So yeah, Easter was almost two weeks ago but blogger makes me mad and better late than never :)

So Bubba's first Easter was cra-zy. We were super busy starting from the time he woke up. As soon as Bubba was done eating, we went right over to Grandma and Grandpa Baker's house for breakfast. Of course, I'm a new found blogger and have not gotten in the habit of taking my camera with me everywhere...maybe I should just carry it in my purse, huh Auntie Goo :)

Anywho, after breakfast, we went to church. MY BIG MAN EVEN WORE A TIE!!! And no, I don't have a picture because the tie came off right after church! Hey, at least he came to church and wore the tie!!

After church we then went to Papa Crabber's house. All the family, well all the aunts were there and most of the cousins were there. We had a lot of fun. My little sister's 5th birthday is the 22nd of April so they had a little birthday party for her since all of the fam was there. She got Chipmunks the Squeakquel so we watched that too!!

Then after some food and some pics it was time to go outside for the Easter egg hunt!!! Bubba was not going to miss this no matter how windy it was so we got one of Papa Crabber's old hankies for a babooshka (this is what bandanas were called when I was little :) and of course, he's got the cool dude shades!!

Then we went to Great Nanny and Great Papa's for Easter dinner. First stop at the grand's was to see Grani Jani...Bubba loves his Grani Jani!!

Then Bubba got his first golden egg while the big girls got candy!!

Then it was nice so myself, Bubba, and Grani Jani went for a walk!!

Bubba got his first piece of mail earlier in the week that was an Easter Bunny hat and a bib that says "Some Bunny Loves You" that he got from Papa Gene and Grandma Mary so we had to try on the hat!

Do ya think my kid got enough for Easter??!! Ope, there's the bib! Bubba got so many things from clothes to books to CEREAL!!! and baby food to new toys!! We had an amazing day, not only because it was beautiful but any day that Bubba gets to see ALL of his family is an amazing day!!!

Little to catch up on AND....Bubba is 4 months old!!!

Ok so it's been a few weeks since I've been on here. And to tell you the truth, for me, blogging is a bit intimidating!! I'm new at this blogging business but even more so, I'm a beginner for technology as well. For example, all of my pictures are in one folder because I have not learned the ability to create a new file to keep my pictures organized!!! Good thing that when I actually get them on the computer, they sort themselves out by date so that helps a TON!!

So enough about my technology illiteracy...some crazy business has been going on around here!! So about a week after I got over my wonderful episode of Mastitis, I woke up at about 2 am on a Tuesday morning with what I thought was heartburn. Holy cripies it was not heartburn!! I had to walk rather quickly to the bathroom to uh, graciously donate my dinner to the bottom of the toilet!! So by about 4 am I had ralphed up about everything I had in my stomach down to the bile... nast-ey! (I counted 10 trips between 2 and 5) It was now coming out both ends and as gross as it may seem, it totally was!! I was on the thrown with a bucket in my lap hahaha I was a site to see!! While dry heaving my lovey says so lovingly (ha sarcasm) "Babe, why do you sound like that? Are you gagging yourself" Oh yes, I love doing this to myself!! I call my sister at work, she works third shifts, and tell her that there was no way I wanted to be around Jaxin after being like this not knowing what was going on...I thought I had food poisoning it hit me so bad so fast! She proceeds to tell me that she feels the same way...cripes what was I going to do?! So then my amazing mother, who I could never thank enough for coming to my rescue, calls me at 6 and the first thing I say is "Can you come take care of Jaxin?" Little did I know that he was going to have to stay with her for TWO NIGHTS!!! As much as it bothered me that I couldn't take care of him, I was so grateful that I had a mother who I knew would take care of him. I did not leave the bed but to pee once and to tie a pair of pj's around my face and put germ-x on my hands to get Jaxin a passy!! My mom had to run out during his nap to take my sister the necessities for the flu...you know, sprite, etc. Well, Jaxin is more of a cat napper. He woke before she got home and he started getting angry so Momma had to do something for my little man because he was starting to cry real tears!

Anywho, Jaxin went just about everywhere with Grani Jani! He helped her clean bottles...

Had a bit of a blow out which required a bath and for Grani Jani to wash her sheets! This was a blowout that came after about two days of no pooping so you can imagine!!

He loves sprawling out to sleep!!

Oh yeah, and of course, Momma misses a first, he finally found his footsie!! And no, he has not done this since!! Oh well, at least he found it!

So along with Bubba finding his footsie for the first time, he turned 4 MONTHS OLD!!! His "birthday" was on the 30th. Kinda crazy because it was a year to the day that I found out I was pregnant with our little bundle of joy and we were also at the same place where I found out I was pregnant...Auntie Goo and Uncle Biiig Boooone's house :) Jaxin is getting so big and doing more and more new things. We have not yet gone to his 4 month check up, that is the 8th! But we are super excited about starting him on cereal...Daddy is still working on the high chair. As I type this, it is put together but the pads are not on it yet. Anywho, some of the new things that Jaxin loves to do are talking to that handsome baby in the mirror...

As much as it pains my heart to see my little man get bigger and bigger way to fast, I am so greatful that he is a healthy baby boy who is happy, seriously ALL the time!! I didn't know what I was going to do before he came into this world and now I cannot imagine what I would do without him!!! I love him and his Daddy more and more every day!!!

Bubba's First Walk!!!!

So since it was so beautiful on Wed, the 10th, Momma took the evening off to spend the evening with my lovey baby!! We decided to take Jaxin on his first walk!!! So, Jaxin, Auntie Lish, and Momma ventured out and met Great Great Uncle Terry halfway. We walked for about an hour and a half!! It was amazing!! Bubba started out doing really well! He was so excited to go outside and not have to be zipped up! Oh and he is growing into his beanie that Grani Jani got for him!!

Then he started to get a little sleepy, and yes, he still loves to fight that sleep!!

So after his nap, Bubba was back to hims happy self!! We went to visit with Great Nanny because Momma and Auntie Lish were rather parched...Bubba loved talking with Great Nanny

And on our way home, we stopped to visit with our friend Mark who Jaxin loved to catch up with!!

We had such a great time and Bubba loved it...after his nap!
