Our little family's 1st Memorial Day Weekend!!!

Our first family vacation was to good ol' Wis-con-sine-ay over the Memorial Day Weekend! Momma's good friend from work, Aly, picked up Momma's hours so we could have a nice looong weekend and we love her dearly for that!! We left early Friday mornin'...packed to the brim!!

Got that beautiful smile with Momma's high pitched "what ya doin' baby" while Daddy is just finishing up "Babe" because all of Casey's parkin' lot can hear Momma try to get her baby to smile...hey-whatev look at that face!!!

Now Daddy responds to the high pitched "What ya doin' baby?!" :)

Bubba didn't last too long...he was AMAZING in the car!!!

We have AR-RIVE-VED!!! I didn't get any pictures of where we stayed..I know I know I know blogger mistake but it was really nice!! We stayed in a log cabin where there was an open kitchen and living room with a bedroom and bathroom upstairs. Then downstairs there was an open bedroom with a Jacuzzi and a double sink. Then two more bedrooms and another bathroom!! And it was maybe 100 steps from the boat dock on the river!!

Bubba's first boat ride WOOT WOOT!! He loved it!! Wasn't such a big van of the floatation device towards the end but he did REALLY good!

It was waaaay too hot for Bubba to hang out on the boat while everyone fished so we got to spend some quality time together swingin' on the porch swing down by the river!!

Later that night, Bubba, Daddy, and Momma went for a stroll and Daddy fished a little...

We decided that Bubba should get to take his bath in the jaccuzi one night...don't worry...Momma and Daddy kept their swimmin' apparel on :) I did get a better picture than this but this one is my fav because they both have the same expression...as usual :)

So we took Bubba to a water park, Noah's Ark, and he loved, loved, LOVED the big ol' mushroom that has water pouring over the sides of it. He'd see it and get all excited flailin' his little arms and kickin' his little legs!! He'd then stick his hands in it then get all excited again!! We also took him for a lap or two around the lazy river! He was doin' pretty good until we unexpectantly got splashed in the face which scared both he and Momma! He was a little tuckered out so once again, thanks for the floatation device Auntie Goo and BFF. Grani Jani was also amazing enough to keep Bubba so Momma could go on some slides with Auntie Lish and Daddy...

We had an amazing time!!! Can't wait to go back :)

Bubba and the Girlies

So on Grani Jani's side of the family Bubba is the only grandson!! There are 5 granddaughters and one great grandson! He loves all of the women in his life and they all love him dearly as well!! This past weekend, Uncle Mikey had his three girls for the weekend so we got to hang out with them Thursday night as well as all day Sunday!!

On Monday night, Aunt Heath and the girlies watched Bubba and sent me this picture while I was at work!! Bubba just had so much love he didn't' know what to do with it all!! We are so blessed that we have such a loving and caring family :)

So because I am such a freak about protecting Jaxin, he has only met our pups two times, one of which they were inside their pen. I wouldn't be so, shall we say anal, about the situation but our dogs like to jump up when they greet people and I would have to womp on them if they hurt my baby! So last week, Bubba got to know Lucy and Rocko a bit more, and melt my heart, he loved them!!

Stinkin' wind kept blowin' my hair ALL over the place and this is the best we could get..look at my little man!!!!

My Bubba is 5 Months Old!!!

Oh my precious little baby, you are growing up SO fast! Momma cannot believe how fast time is flying by and all the new things that you are doing! You belly laugh now whenever we lightly tickle your back! You are still sleeping through the night! You love to read books and listen to music! You even have big boy poops now that you are eating more than just Momma's milk! Hahaha, gross I know but it is still something new for you!! And because I still have prego brain, here are the stats from your 4 month check up; Height: 25.5 in (75%), Weight: 15 lbs.14 oz. (75%), Head Circumfrence: 16.5 in. (50%). Momma had to take you to go see Dr. Toohill yesterday because you still have a bit of a cold--nothing to fret about. We just have to suck your nose with the nose-sucky-thingy and keep the humidifier in your room. So, your official 5 month weight is 16 lbs. 12 oz. You are growing so fast!!! Oh, and just so you know, the last time you went to the Dr.'s office, you peed all over the scale bahahahaha!

Grani Jani got you a new hat that says "Boys Rule" and you look like such a big boy in it!!

You still LOVE to go for walks!! I got you this new hat to keep your little Papa Crabber ears from the wind!

The other night, Momma had just got done pumping and you decided to wake up for a night cap so we had to give you a bottle. You just grabbed that thing and didn't let go and you did it all by yourself little man!!

So, since you can hold your bottle like a big boy, we decided to let you try the sippy that Grani Jani got for you...action shot of you trying to get hold of it!

You got hold of it with a little help from Grani Jani to tip it up for ya!

Since you are now five months old, you have started VEGGIES!!!! Your first try with veggies was the sweet tatters that you gagged on a stringy piece!!

But then you had a fun filled night of green beans with Momma and Daddy on your 5 month birthday!! You were so excited!!

You and Daddy were always smiling and making each other laugh while Momma was getting your green beans ready and taking pictures!!!
